Richard graduated from the Oxford School of Architecture, Oxford Brookes University in 1994 whereupon he joined the London practice van Heyningen & Haward. In 1995 Richard moved on to become an Associate at London based Squire & Partners, where he remained for the next 9 years. Whilst here Richard was involved with numerous prestigious projects, in particular, the redevelopment of West India Quay in the Isle of Dogs and the creation of extensive new entertaining facilities at the Hurlingham Club, SW3.

On moving to Devon in 2004 Richard worked briefly for a local practice before launching RAW Design, which later became webster sheryn.

Richard pursues his commitment to excellent design solutions that embrace sustainability and ecological issues, something that he is passionate about.
