Frederieke graduated from Delft University of Technology in The Netherlands in 1992 under the tutelage of both Herman Hertzberger and Ben van Berkel.

Having completed two residential projects in Holland and Belgium in 1993, Frederieke traveled to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to work for Dr. Ken Yeang and DNA Consultants, having already worked for some time in Hong Kong.

In 1995 Frederieke moved to London and joined the Australian architects, Denton Corker Marshall. Here she designed and project managed office refurbishments and numerous residential developments. Realising that her passion and strength lay in modern interior architecture, she joined Circus Architects and gained considerable experience in designing high-spec interiors, as well as award-winning loft conversions.

Before relocating to Devon, Frederieke worked for SCH Architects in London for several years where she expanded her experience across a wide spectrum of building types, becoming senior project architect.

Frederieke relishes the opportunity to develop the brief and design alongside the client, ensuring a continuity of dialogue through to completion. Her solid grounding in interpreting the client's needs is wedded to her commitment to progressive, contemporary design.
