After almost 18 months of negotiating with the planners, town council and local residents the redevelopment of this town centre brown-field site gained planning approval from Dartmoor National Park. The approved scheme is for 18 flats of 1 and 2 bedrooms with off street parking. A public green space in front of the development also doubles as a flood prevention channel above the underground culvert and 20 public car park spaces are provided.
