Higher Poulston Farm is a collection of converted farm buildings providing holiday letting facilities in a rural farm setting in the heart of the Devon countryside.
The proposed new building offers state of the art sports facilities that will maintain the complexes position in the competitive market place. Facilities will include a multi purpose sports hall that can accommodate basket ball, tennis and 6-a side football; swimming pool; squash court; fully equipped gym; admin offices and a multipurpose room for snooker, pool with IT and gaming facilities.
The building is intended to be sympathetic to its surroundings at Higher Poulston, a farm setting, and therefore offers references to a barn structure. Timber frame, the building will be principally cedar clad with feature rendered panels to the main façade, further articulated by the large glazed elements at the main entrance and the pool.
